Course Curriculum

All seamanship skills and navigation skills are upgraded into a leadership role.
You will be taught how to pilot a yacht in familiar waters, as well as more advanced sailing skills including selecting sails and spinnakers, interpreting weather forecasts, mooring a boat, dealing with emergency situations, night sailing familiarization and advanced navigation techniques. You are able to live aboard for the full duration of the course.

Students should have completed the Yacht Hand course or have equivalent experience and a good knowledge of navigation and boat handling with 120 logged miles offshore.
